Knorvex also uses similar technologies such as local storage for authentication preferences, UI state, and (only if you opt in) analytics consent.

Name: prepwise_session — Purpose: keep you signed in (httpOnly session) — Duration: matches access-token lifetime from the API — Type: essential — Provider: Knorvex.

Name: knorvex_cookie_consent (localStorage) — Purpose: store your Accept / Reject / preference choice — Duration: until cleared — Type: essential (preference record) — Provider: Knorvex.

Name: prepwise_product_analytics_opt_in (localStorage) — Purpose: mirror analytics opt-in for product events — Duration: until cleared — Type: analytics (only after consent) — Provider: Knorvex.

Name: prepwise_analytics_session / prepwise_analytics_queue (sessionStorage) — Purpose: anonymous event batching when analytics is on — Duration: browser session — Type: analytics — Provider: Knorvex.

Theme and sidebar UI preferences may also be stored locally — Type: functional — Provider: Knorvex.

These are required for Knorvex to function. They include session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in, protect your account, and maintain security during requests.

Without essential cookies, core features such as chat, quizzes, and account settings will not work properly.

We store preferences such as theme selection, sidebar state, and local client settings to improve your experience across visits.

These are not used for advertising and are limited to product functionality.

With your consent, we may use first-party product analytics to understand feature usage, diagnose errors, and improve performance. Analytics events exclude the contents of your uploaded study materials and are not sold to advertisers.

We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or similar third-party marketing trackers by default. If we add them later, they will remain off until you opt in via Cookie settings.

Payment flows handled by Stripe may set cookies required for fraud prevention and checkout security when you open Checkout or the billing portal.

Fonts are self-hosted via Next.js font optimization and do not set third-party Google cookies at runtime.

Embedded content or future integrations may set their own cookies under their respective policies.

Use Cookie settings in the site footer (or reopen preferences from the consent banner) to Accept, Reject, or change analytics preferences at any time.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using Knorvex.
